Competition is expected to be intense as the teams from Italy, Spain, Russia and Germany begin to gather in Porto Cervo for the Sardinia Rolex Cup.
This biannual event which started in 1972 promises to be as challenging as ever for the teams comprised of a Swan 45, Farr and Transpac 52 – the most demanding one design classes on the planet.
Marco Salvi’s Vertigo has teamed up with HMS Juan Carlos TP52 Bribon, while Danilo Salsi represents team Italy together with Vincenzo Onorato’s Mascalzone Latino and Simoneschi’s Audi Q8. From Germany, comes Earlybird helmed by Owner Hendrik Brandis and completing the Russian teams it will be Mikail Mouratov with Murka 2 and Lanfranco Cirillo’s Fantastikinaa.
